2. Purpose of Processing

​ ​The MI ERP mobile application collects the following types of data to provide its functionalities:

​ ​Location Data

​ ​Our application accesses device location data (precise and approximate location) for the following purposes:

      • Business visit registration:Allows users to record the geographic location of visits made to clients as part of sales management and CRM.
      • Route tracking:Facilitates the tracking of business routes to optimize the management of salespeople and sales representatives.
      • Background geolocation:The application can access the device's location even when not actively in use, for the purpose of continuously recording visits and routes during the workday. This functionality requires explicit user authorization and can be disabled at any time from the device settings.

​ ​Location data is stored securely and is only shared with the Odoo ERP server configured by the user or their company for the synchronization of business data.

​ ​Camera

​ ​The application requests access to the device's camera for:

      • Capture photographs of products, documents, or evidence of business visits.
      • Scan barcodes or QR codes for quick product identification.

​ ​Captured images are stored locally and/or synchronized with the Odoo ERP server according to the user's settings.

​ ​Microphone

​ ​The application requests access to the device's microphone for:

      • Voice input or dictation functionalities (if enabled).
      • Recording audio notes related to business activities.

​ ​Microphone access is only activated when the user explicitly uses functions that require it.

​ ​Notifications

​ ​The application uses push notifications to:

      • Alert about new orders, messages, or updates from the ERP system.
      • Reminders for scheduled visits or pending tasks.
      • Synchronization notifications and application status.

​Network Status

​ ​The application accesses information about the network connection status to:

      • Determine when to synchronize data with the server.
      • Manage the application's offline/online mode.

​App Data Storage and Sharing

​ ​The data collected by the mobile application is:

      1. Stored locallyon the user's device in an encrypted form.
      2. Synchronizedwith the Odoo ERP server configured by the user or their organization.
      3. Not sharedwith third parties other than the provider of the Odoo ERP server used.
      4. They are not usedfor third-party advertising purposes.

​ ​The user can at any time:

      • Revoke location, camera, or microphone permissions from their device settings.
      • Disable app notifications.
      • Request the deletion of their data as established in this policy.

3. Rights of the Holders

Data holders may exercise the following rights:

  • Know, update, and rectify their data.
  • Request proof of the granted authorization.
  • Be informed about the use given to their data.
  • File complaints with theSuperintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC)for violations of regulations.
  • Revoke authorization and/or request the deletion of their data when legal principles and guarantees are not respected.

4. Authorization of the Holder

Grupo MI ERP SAS requests prior, express, and informed authorization for the processing of personal data. This authorization can be granted in writing, verbally, or through unequivocal conduct such as using our services.

5. Information Security

We adopt the necessary technical, administrative, and human measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure.

Data may be transmitted or transferred to third-party partners or technology providers, both inside and outside the country, solely to fulfill the described purposes while ensuring the confidentiality and security of the information.
