• Ask your bank to enable the MegaSoft vPOS service and the Virtual Terminal ID.
• Install the MegaSoft agent on the POS PC — it listens by default to http://localhost:8085.
• In Odoo, go to Point of Sale Configuration Payment Methods and create a method with the appropriate MegaSoft Action field (Card, Mobile/Zelle Payment, Exchange…).
• In Point of Sale Configuration POS Configuration, indicate the MegaSoft URL and the Virtual Terminal.
• Associate the payment method to the POS and open a session.
• The cashier creates the ticket and selects the method configured with MegaSoft.
• The POS triggers the corresponding action against the local terminal.
• If the method requires a reference, the cashier captures it at the prompt.
• The terminal requests the card/PIN/phone from the customer and sends the response back.
• Odoo displays "Passed", persists numSeq and leaves the line done.
• At the end of the shift, the supervisor opens the MegaSoft menu from the POS navbar.
• Run Pre-Close to verify totals before the final cut.
• If the totals match, run Close to send the batch to the bank.
• Reprint the last voucher / last transaction / last closing when required for reconciliation.
• Inherits pos.payment.method, pos.payment, pos.config and pos.order.
• Implement a custom PaymentInterface (PaymentMegaSoft) in the POS.
• Terminal endpoint: POST {url_megasoft}/vpos/metodo (default http://localhost:8085).
• Supported actions: card, keyboardOpen, change, cancellation, pre-close, close, lastClose, printLastVoucher, printLastTransaction.
• Fields persisted in pos.payment: request, response, response_code, response_message, pos_reference.
• Compatible with fiscal printer (set_other_commands) to print payment receipt.
